Introduction
Wire drawing machine is one of the main processing equipment in the
wire and cable industry. It mainly processes copper wires into thin
wires of various specifications. It is generally composed of paying
off, water cooling, take-up and arrangement. The electrical
transmission part is mainly realized by paying off motor, take-up
motor and arrangement motor. With the continuous promotion of
frequency conversion technology, frequency converter is
increasingly used in wire drawing machine equipment.

Main electrical components of wire drawing machine
In general, the wire drawing machine is mainly driven by paying off
motor, take-up motor and wire arranging motor. As the winding
diameter does not expand, the speed of the winding motor should be
reduced accordingly to ensure the constant line speed. In the
control, the tension feedback device is often used to adjust the
speed of the winding motor. With the increasing function and stable
performance of the frequency converter, the frequency converter is
also applied to the wire drawing machine. The frequency converter
is used to control the take-up motor and pay off motor, while the
wire arrangement motor is directly controlled by the grid voltage
due to its small power.
